Sean Korim has been organizing this tournament every year starting in 2009 to honour the memory of Sapper Sean Greenfield who was killed while serving in Afghanistan on 31 January 2009.

We are deeply proud of our military community and the incredible dedication, sacrifice, and courage they show every single day.

We are grateful for the strength they display, the challenges they overcome, and the countless ways they give of themselves for the greater good. To our military members and their families—you are the true embodiment of honor, resilience, and service, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Over the years the money raised has been donated to Afghans for Tomorrow, Right to Play, Boomer's Legacy and most recently Greener Pastures equine therapy program.
