Hyundai Pembroke is honoured to sponsor and support Evolution BJJ and Muay Thai Petawawa as they head to Japan this September to compete on the world stage.

Richelle Sanderson (A longtime member of the Hyundai Pembroke Family) , Professor Steve Burgess (Head Instructor), along with several dedicated students, have been helping out competitors train for the event and will be travelling with the team Sept 15–25 to the SJJIF World Jiu Jitsu Championships in Shiba, Japan (Sept 18–21).

Representing Team Canada from Evolution BJJ Petawawa are:

Leah Weiss – 17 years old, Blue Belt, training since age 8

Autumn Schlievert – 17 years old, Blue Belt, training in Petawawa for 3 years

Lisa Bennett – 43 years old, Purple Belt, training in Petawawa for 3 years
